Update:
Had a new knee installed on Monday so basketball hasn’t been a priority this week. I will ease back into it once I can move about a little better. Doing everything on a phone is too much of a hassle. I did look at light schedule tonight and Illinois at Maryland is a big game. Maryland looks awfully good. Going to be hard for Illinois to go there and win. Just an opinion. Full slate of games tomorrow, will not look at every one but if something sticks out, I’ll post.

The underdogs in these offshore tournaments have been on fire this past week. Mizzou is putting up huge points again today. Think we found an underdog today who may win the game. This Tarleton team has been in every game losing to arizona state by 3 and drake by 7. They have beaten belmont by 8 and boston college by 16. I know wichita is at home but hopefully it wont be much of a factor during holiday weekend. Wichita lost to alcorn st earlier and has looked less than impressive. Posted early enough so if the email is slow like last time there should still be enough time before game starts.

An expected letdown yesterday but that was a real clunker and it looked like they were intimidated by Maryland from the start. But maybe Maryland is a lot better than we thought as they are headed to another easy win over Miami Fla in the championship game. Expect a much better effort today. Also coming back with Memphis over VCU at 4:00. And I expect Seton Hall will rebound also with a big win today. Mizzou should score 100+ points in their game tonight as they are third in the country in scoring so far this year.

Well yesterday played out just as we thought as underdogs prevailed in tournament games and Portland won easy last night since it wasn’t an official play. Tonight we will back Bellarmine catching double digits. It’s all about pace and shooting for the Knights as they went to Louisville and won earlier this year. They will have problems defending inside but Clemson is no powerhouse and is young and unproven. Can’t pass up these points.
No official picks tonight
Should be posting numerous games instead of just one because I keep posting the losing game. Had three games circled last night, Seton Hall, Texas and Chicago state and the two we don’t post win easily. Today I had two games circled, one of which was UMass +6 who hasn’t played since we picked them last week (every loser we have had has covered in their very next game) and the other is Portland -4 who plays at Air Force tonight. So obviously UMass wins outright in an early afternoon tournament game so I’m not going to post Portland and it’s sure to win also. A few tournaments now and this weekend and the underdogs always do well as two underdogs have already won and covered today. I’ll get on track soon, had a slow start last year too.
