We strayed away from the big spreads and it was a costly mistake as the three favorites last night with spreads more than 20 all won easily. MVSU hasn’t come close to covering a 30 point spread and until they do we’ll keep betting against them. Get on it early as this number will only climb. For you afternoon bettors Virginia is playing at 3:00 after their big upset loss. I expect a typical Virginia score, 79-46.

Well, Arizona State was up 44 with 12 minutes to go when they decided to put in the women’s team and were outscored 32-15 for the rest of the game. That was disgraceful. Really don’t implement any system this early in season but it would have worked to perfection yesterday as after San Francisco beat Virginia on Saturday they laid down yesterday as Rhode Island dominated them from the start for an easy win. Somewhat of the same here as Mercer just beat in state rival Georgia Tech. Big letdown spot here as Georgia State comes in with a powerful team with great depth. They are one of the best mid-major teams around and I fully expect to get the win here. I also like them at -2. Also on Bowling Green tonight as they are a much better team than App State, starts at 5:00

Fell just short of a perfect day yesterday as South Carolina State score the last six points in the last 1:30 to sneak inside the number, the last being a steal and dunk as Bowling Green was trying to run out the clock. Wyoming and Abilene Christian win easily although I didn’t get up early enough to post AC, the line on that game didn’t come out til real late and it started at 10:00am. That team is really good though. Houston Baptist lost their top three scorers and gave up more points than any D-1 team last year. Arizona state lost their first game to Villanova and they can score a lot of points. the over under on this game is 171 and Arizona’s team total is 103. This will be a bloodbath, 108-57.

Tough one to take last night after Wisconsin went out to a 25-0 lead. The starters didn’t play the last ten minutes of the game. But if you bet early you got a push. And Wisconsin’s team total went over easily. Back to betting against MVSU today as they go to Wyoming who is ranked 181 out of 357 teams. That’s why the number is not in the thirties. However, Wyoming has a new coach who used to coach at Northern Colorado where twice they led the nation in defending the three pointer. That’s all MVSU shoots is three pointers. so we will lay the points again hoping for a 95-50 victory. Bowling Green lost their first game to Michigan 96-82. This BG squad is really good and can score. Their opponent South Carolina state #356 out of 357 and lost their opener to app state by 20. I think BG can put up 90 and if they do, should easily cover. I most likely will be on Abilene Christian again at 10:00am but as I write this there is no line on the game yet.

Teams favored by more than 30 pts are a perfect 6-0 so let’s continue that streak. Arkansas pine Bluff is ranked #353 out of 357 teams and they have problems scoring which will be tough against a big Wisconsin team. APB lost to Marquette in their first game 99-57 and Marquette doesn’t play much defense so I’m looking at something like a 94-48 final.

Great day yesterday as all three line move games hit (Abilene, Mizzou, and Kentucky) and Arkansas pummels MVSU. It was embarrassing to watch a team like that. That’s why we are coming right back against them. Any better than average team can beat this team by 50 points. North Texas Is ranked 105 out of 357 and is expected to finish near the top of Conference USA. They should also top 100 points easily which means they will cover the 35. Note: Yesterday, favorites that were more than a 20 point favorite were 20-3, blowouts everywhere. I also bet Illinois last night -38 against Chicago state, that line is now up to 44. We’ll see how that plays out. Happy Thanksgiving!
