Tough day but we are going after one more. Utah State has been playing great after a rough league start and playing an inexperienced Fresno team whose only league wins have been against the bottom of the league.

Looks like our afternoon teams were a couple of no shows. Oh well, Michigan State lost three in a row then beat Illinois by one point. They have failed to cover their last four. Maryland has won seven games in a row. I’m trusting the Vegas line here which points to a big victory for Michigan State. May have another game late.

I also like Rutgers at 3:30 if I can find out if Dosunmu won’t play for Illinois. He was carted off at the end of their last game and is a game time decision. Louisville is a great road team but is coming off a loss at Ga tech. Clemson is nothing special and Louisville will bounce back today. South Alabama is one of the best in their league and La Monroe is the worst having lost ten straight games before winning their last game on the road against a bad Troy team. Blowout here. VCU also plays at 3:00 but Richmond is playing with revenge. Still wouldn’t be surprised if VCU gets the win after losing for us their last game.

Miami hasn’t had a very good season but has had a tough schedule and have dealt with injuries. Playing better now and catching Wake off a huge upset win over North Carolina. Big letdown spot here as WF is not a good road team. Will have more later, I’ll post by 2:00 for later afternoon games.

Well, time to get back on track after West Virginia leads for most of the game but then decides not to score a single point in the last five plus minutes of the game at home none the less. And VCU can’t even win at home as a 14 point favorite. Tough night yesterday but tonight we go with Indiana who has lost four straight but has been pretty competitive. Iowa is great at home where they have lived for much of league play but are dismal on the road where they have only beaten Northwestern.

Two of the top three teams in the Big 12 battle here and West Virginia at home is too good to pass up. Kansas has won 8 games in a row against the weaker teams of the Big 12 but now they face real competition and their run ends tonight. VCU is overdue for their 83-48 rout at home and George Mason is there to accommodate. GM has a freshman point guard starting because of numerous injuries and they won’t be able to handle the pressure of VCU.
