Tough night tonight as there are a lot of games but no real standouts. Taking a big favorite tonight in Liberty who inexplicably lost to Stetson in their last game after being up nine at halftime, and before that had lost at North Florida. They are playing one of the worst teams in the country tonight and I see a 75 -43 final. This Towson team is pretty good having won 6 in a row and their opponent had lost 12 in a row until they upset both Northeastern and Charleston. NCWilm comes back to earth tonight and loses big. Stetson just beat Liberty in their biggest game of the year, big letdown tonight against a good North Florida team. UAB plays tonight and we lost with them on Saturday so they will probably cover tonight. Public is all over Illinois at home and Maryland at home so I won’t touch those games.

ND has played one of the toughest schedules in the country and they are overdue for an easy game. Welcome in Wake Forest who just played a great game but lost to Virginia at the end. Nothing left in the tank here as ND wins easily. New Mexico is in turmoil, its so complex I don’t have enough space to talk about it. Just know that their leading four scorers are suspended or injured. They have lost 3 of their last four games by 33,21, and 22 points. They did manage to beat San Jose state but they are awful. Now they face San Diego State who is much better than all of them. The Pit doesn’t help here as they get slaughtered.

Gamblers don’t take days off and I don’t but sometimes I’m hesitant to post after a bad day. That won’t happen anymore because Sunday and Monday were full of easy winners. So tonight we will jump back on Florida who didn’t show up in their last game. Mississippi State is not a good road team and Florida has to show up tonight. VCU is really good at home and Richmond is coming off a loss at home to Dayton. Normally this would set up nicely for Richmond but they lost 16 ppg with Blake Francis’ injury against St. Louis on Jan 11. They won a couple without him but they spent everything they had against Dayton and they are overmatched tonight. In addition the spread keeps going up which tells me the sharps, who usually play the dogs, are on the heavy favorite tonight. And I have a sneaky suspicion that Missouri will cover tonight.

Rough day on posted picks yesterday so a little hesitant today. Normally I would jump on Michigan State after their loss but they have already beaten Minnesota already this year and Minnesota is pretty darn good especially at home. I’ll pass on them so I’m sure they will win and cover.

Michigan game was going good , make your free throws and put the game away. Instead make none of your free throws and end up losing. UAB and Liberty coming off bad losses and New Hampshire is playing at Binghampton who just had a huge upset win over Stony Brook. Hope these teams can shoot a little better than Michigan.
