  1. No official plays today;
    Just getting ready to implement my system as some leagues games are starting up but with finals and holidays approaching and more tournaments, official plays will be sparse. My conservative approach has worked well so far and don’t want to change just yet. The lines are now pretty much where they should be so now we will look for bounce back games or letdown games. Seemed to work yesterday as Mizzou, Wisconsin and Illinois all played great after terrible performances. Today Oklahoma State plays at home again after their debacle against Georgetown. They are 3-4 points favs over an average Wichita state team . We will see if Okla state can bounce back, maybe they aren’t as good as I thought. The other game that sticks out today is Ohio at home against Tenn Tech. They are 12 point favs and Tech is bad but I’m surprised the line isn’t higher so we will lay off. Yesterday the Mizzou line of only +2 almost told you that they were going to win. Slu in a desert tournament game today against Tulane and is a five point fav. We will see how they play on a neutral court. Big game today is North Carolina at Virginia but both teams are coming off 20+ point losses. Good luck in whatever you play today.

  2. 1* Oklahoma State -11 #842 starts at 7:00
    Recap of last night’s bad beat: Mo state’s 7 point lead with 4 minutes to go quickly evaporated but with 7 seconds to go Mo state was fouled leading by two points 68-66. Made first free throw but missed the second but amazingly they got the offensive rebound and was fouled again with 4 seconds left. If he makes both they will win by five and cover. He makes them both to go up 71-66 for the win! Not so fast, it’s never over til it’s over. Murray state inbounds the ball running down the court (Mo state isn’t playing any defense at this point) and throws up a long three pointer as buzzer is sounding and it goes down. An amazing cover turns into an incredibly bad beat. It’s over and we move on to tonight where we will go with the most underrated team in America at home to pummel a team in total turmoil. Georgetown has dismissed it’s starting point guard and power forward for the season amidst some assault scandal. They averaged 13 and 7 points and now they go on the road with a makeshift team. OKST is undefeated at 7-0 and in their last two games beat Syracuse by 14 and Mississippi by 41! They are playing great basketball and should win by at least 15 tonight.

  3. 1* Missouri State -4 #780 starts at 7:00
    When a mid major loses a great player they just can’t replace them with another. Such is the case with Wofford, Lipscomb, and in this case Murray State. Ja Morant could take over any game and he was the best player in Murray State history. Without him they are just an average team and maybe not even that. They will still compete in the weak Ohio Valley but Belmont is by far the class of that league this year. The Racers have already lost to Drake and LaSalle both by double digits. Mo State on the other hand has lost to Xavier by three, Miami Fla by four and Buffalo by one. They are great on defense and are the favorites to win the MVC. Murray State just can’t score at the rate they used to and should struggle again tonight. The Bears look to avenge a 17 point loss last year when Morant scored 29 and fellow senior Shaq Buchanan scored 20. That’s 49 points from two departed players. I fully expect a great effort by Missouri State before a wild home crowd tonight.

  4. 1* North Texas +6 #723 starts at 7:00
    I have these two teams rated about even and even though the game is at Texas Arlington, I believe we are getting value with the points . North Texas plays a slow defensive style (the over under is only 120) which should keep this game close. North Texas has played VCU, Arkansas, Rhode Island and Utah State so they certainly won’t be intimidated here and this is a game they can win. As long as north Texas can dictate the pace they should stay inside this number and possibly pull off the upset.

  5. 1* St. Mary’s -2 #816 starts at 10:30 on espu
    Found a good spot for the home team tonight as the Gaels host undefeated #17 Utah State. Utah State just won a terrible tournament in Jamaica against a weak field. Now after coming home for thanksgiving they have to go on the road to play St. Mary’s who have been waiting to avenge a 17 point loss last year. We have an unranked team at home as a small favorite over a ranked team. This is Utah State’s first road game of the year and I expect a great effort from the Gaels tonight.

  6. No plays today:
    Happy Thanksgiving! Hope all your turkey day bets win.
    Recap: Taking a little break as tournaments are fun to bet but hard to win money. Billikens really look good but Mizzou needs more time. My Bradley bet was one game too early as they looked awful against Northwestern but….. their next game against a good defensive K-State was a little different. They shot almost 60% from three point and handled Kansas state with ease winning by double digits 73-60. And on the flip side, Northwestern looked awful and lost to Pitt 72-59. Such is life in the college basketball gambling world. The good news is that we love those bounce back games and usually the team you bet on and lose will often win their next game.
