  1. 1* Bradley -3 #826 starts at 7:30
Couldn’t pull the trigger yesterday on LSU -6 over Rhode Island on a neutral court and sure enough they won easily. These neutral site tournament games are scary but I’m going right back to one tonight. Northwestern has lost at home to Merrimack and Radford. This is their first game away from home and Bradley’s talent level is superior. Bradley has lost on the road to St. Josephs but has played some decent teams and actually beat Radford. They would like nothing better than to beat up on the big ten’s worst team.

  2. 1* Arizona State -2 #657 starts at 1:30
Normally don’t bet tournament games on neutral site but this one sticks out. Arizona State is loaded this year and is by far the better team. St John’s hasn’t left their home floor until today and the only decent team they played, Vermont, they lost. I can’t pass up the disparity of talent here. I know anything can happen in these tournament games but i’ll take my chances with the Sun Devils today.

  3. 1* Oregon -6 #810 starts at 8:00
Oregon had a terrible start to the season last year but by the end of the year they were a top team. This year they have started out hot and I expect them to continue tonight against Houston who is playing it’s second straight road game. Houston is not as strong as years past and this is a really tough spot for them. Oregon has played good competition in their first four games and they should continue and win by double digits tonight.

  4. 1* New Mexico +4 #759 starts at 8:00
Huge rivalry game here and actually NMex has lost to NMexSt 5 straight times. NMexSt should have beaten Auburn in the tournament last year if you recall, improbable finish. They look out of sync this year so far after losing a couple of players and lost to Arizona by 30. NMex has been bad the last couple years but had three ineligible juco players practicing with them last year but didn’t play. Their top scorer from last year ranks sixth on the team this year. A totally new team but have practiced together for a long time. They just lost a tough road game and plays at Auburn next game so they know this is the game they have to win. NMexSt goes straight to the Caymen islands after this game so their focus may be a little off tonight. I’ll take four points with New Mexico here as a bonus.

  5. 1* St. Mary’s -8 #734 starts at 10:00 on ESPU
Not sure what kind of “arrangement” the two coaches had last night but I found it very curious that La. Tech went five minutes in the first half with no points and the same thing happened in the second half around the exact time for four minutes in the second half. The rest of the game they had no problem scoring points against an awful defense. That’s nine minutes with no points, very strange. Oh well, we move on. St. Mary’s is experienced, plays great defense and plays well at home. Fresno State lost their top two scorers and are now very inexperienced and I expect a double digit win by the Gaels tonight.

  6. 1* Over 156 MVS-La Tech #307599-600
Actually I think the best bet is over the La Tech team total of 94.5. The least amount of points in MVS games so far has been 172. I can’t see that changing and I like La tech to cover the 34 points also. Western Michigan was the worst D-1 team MVS has faced and it showed it their last game as MVS covered but the point total was still 171. MVS has no defense so I see a 108- 69 final . I just cant see this game going under unless MVS doesnt hit 50. Last night a bunch of big numbers covered, and we learned that you can’t be afraid of big numbers unless Kentucky is involved.
