Hey Roger, thanks for the picks and commentary! I always look forward to your insight on teams spreads, injuries, home and away records, and so forth. I’m with you this year, without fans, and shutdowns, and back to back games, I find it too hard to figure out. I shut down about 2 weeks ago from betting for the same reasons you listed! Next year will be back to normal and fun again picking games! Can’t wait to see everyone this year, golfing, derbying (I just made that word up), or just hanging out with everyone! Let’s get back to FUN TIMES again!
Going to shut it down for this strange season as we just couldn’t get much into any rhythm this year. Had a couple nice winning streaks but then followed with losing streaks. Was going to post St. Bonaventure, St. Louis and Loyola Chicago last night but lines on those quick turnaround tournament games didn’t come out until this morning. I’m not an early morning riser and since the first game started at 10:00, I barely had time to make my own bet. All three won and covered easily, that’s the way the season has gone so this is a good stopping point. May have a different approach next year in hopefully what will be a normal season. Good luck to all in the tournament, I bet Baylor +600 (now +325) and Gonzaga +850 (now +225) early in season when the future odds were good so will be rooting for them. Hopefully we will do it again next year.
1* West Virginia -13 #732 6:00
1* Oklahoma -2 #750 8:00
West Virginia just lost to Baylor but played really well. They will be ready to play against a TCU team who just hasn’t been in sync all year. Oklahoma has lost three in a row but have been close until the end. They are due to win their last game.
1* Villanova -4 #686 7:30
We have picked a few duds this year and we can add Michigan to that list. How the #2 team in the country can look that bad and so disorganized this late in the season is beyond me. It looked like a jv team playing a varsity team. Tonight we’ll take Villanova coming off a loss where they played poorly. They also have revenge as they lost the first meeting to Creighton by 16 just over two weeks ago. Also taking Tulane, Missouri, Texas A&M, Fla State, Belmont, Abilene Christian and NC A&T.
1* Michigan -8 #632 6:00
We’ll go with the hottest team in the country to keep rolling against Illinois who will once again be playing without their best player. They managed two wins without him but this will result in a different outcome. Michigan should roll here. Also taking Mississippi, Wisconsin Duke, Alabama and Georgetown.
1* Oklahoma money line -135 # 845 8:00
These two teams just played and Oklahoma lost in overtime at home. Now they go to Oklahoma state for a rematch. This team has too much talent and they should get their revenge tonight. Also taking Richmond, Virginia, Quinnipiac, and Syracuse
