    1* W. Kentucky -16 #798 2:00

Should have had a sweep yesterday but Alabama only scores 2 points in a seven minute stretch towards the end of the game and an uncontested layup at end was costly. Today we take two home teams who can name their score. Houston, who will have senior day today, and will have no problem with S. Florida who can’t wait for the season to end. Western Kentucky coincidentally just played Houston and lost big 81-57. But they are still on top of their league and will take out their big loss on FIU who’s best player averaging 17.1 points a game has decided to opt out the rest of the season. I expect a couple of 85-59 outcomes. Also like Pitt, Montana State, North Dakota State, and Army.

  2. 1* Alabama -6 #723 5:00

Alabama hasn’t lost back to back games all year and they will be ready to play today. Miss State has improved but they will be lucky to hang around today.

  3. 1* Davidson -2 #636 1:00

Big letdown game for VCU here on the road where Davidson always shoots well and they just lost back to back games against the Bonnies.

  4. 1* Northern Iowa -3 #875 8:00
    1* Georgia State -2 #881 8:00
    1* Utah State -8 #879 8:00

Well, Dosunmu didn’t play for Illinois last night which first caused the spread to drop four and then slowly climb back up two. Didn’t make any difference as Illinois dominated. Tonight a couple small road favorites and a big home favorite. This Northern Iowa spread just keeps going up and Georgia State is playing their best basketball right now and lost to South Alabama earlier and has won 8 in a row albeit over weak competition. Utah State just lost two in a row to Boise at Boise and now gets to come back home to play Nevada who hasn’t played in 19 days. Also taking Loyola Chicago, Montana State, Arkansas Little Rock, Akron, St. Louis, and Texas Rio Grande.

  5. No early plays.

May have a later play but don’t know yet. llinois should come back and hammer Nebraska but line is all over the place having dropped four points before going back up two points. Not sure what is making line move so much. Interesting note: Gonzaga has covered 9 straight first half lines, but is only 5-4 in game spreads. They are 17.5 favs in first half tonight.

  6. 1* Florida State -12 #695 7:30

As a SLU fan, they really got screwed out of two seconds by the ref who called the late foul. If he would have called it right away there would have been 6.7 seconds left which would have been plenty of time to get off a good shot. That was the latest foul call I have ever seen. Anyway, 2-2 on the night but lose the rated plays which seems to be the norm here lately. Funny, Dayton is currently getting hammered by St. Joe’s after their big win against SLU. We may be joining the party too late but Florida State has been playing really well and Miami has not, dealing with injuries and having problems scoring. Florida state can score and I just can’t see Miami staying close, but I haven’t been too good on my rated selections so feel free to fade away. Also took Air Force (already started) , South Carolina and Tennessee.
