The end of the Memphis game last night was brutal to watch as SMU fouled a three point attempt after the ball had already left his hand and had no chance of going in. Then instead of a foul called with 1.8 seconds left they instead called a jump ball. Would have rather lost by twenty than ending that way. Money line players got the win but SMU held the lead and then couldn’t hit a shot the last eight minutes when they could have extended their lead. Great game tonight Iowa at Illinois. Iowa coming off their worst game of the year but Illinois can match Iowa’s inside game. The team that makes more threes will most likely win and that favors Iowa. My small plays tonight will be Iowa, Utah Valley, Long Beach, FIU and Liberty. Lots of games tomorrow to choose from.

It happens a couple times a year when I post. Last night I had six games circled for potential plays and sure enough the one I posted was the only one that lost. The other five went 4-0-1. The good news is my system worked really well last night except I posted the only loser. That’s gambling . Bounce back game for SMU tonight after just barely losing to Memphis on Wednesday.

Down 66-60 with 8:50 left last night , LSU went on a nice 18-0 run after that to win and cover easily. Good to be on the right side of that as A%M couldn’t miss the first ten minutes of the second half but played awful after that. Going off the grid a little tonight as this WCar team is 0-5 in conference but has been in just about every game. This is a game they know they can win against an undisciplined VMI team that plays no defense. If WCar can slow the game down a bit they can win this game unless VMI shoots lights out.

LSU just lost to Alabama and Kentucky and after this game plays Texas Tech, Alabama and Florida. This is a must win for them over a really bad A@M team. Road teams in SEC have done exceptionally well in SEC this year. LSU has won seven straight times in this series by double digits. Make it eight after tonight.

Going back to the well with Eastern Washington today in their repeat matchup. Line was -3.5 last night and jumped to 4.5 today. Hoping they can defend the three point line. If they do, they should win by double digits.

Well we got a couple things right last night as both big underdogs won outright. However, didn’t expect Northern Colorado to hit 13 three pointers and EWash only 3. Still, EWash had the ball in a tie game with 7 seconds to go, promptly lost the ball and then fouled with one second to go, game over. Tonight we go against the home team who has four impressive wins in a row, three of them on the road. We think they will stumble at home tonight against a really good Michigan team. Like some other games tonight, too. FIU +8, La. Monroe +5, and texas san Antonio -5.
