Virginia just had their 15 game ACC winning streak ended at Virginia Tech on Saturday and Coach Bennett was not happy with the effort. Now they go to NC state who just lost their leading scorer Devon Daniels to a knee injury for the year who averaged 16.5 per game. It’s tough enough to score against the Cavs but when you take away 16.5 a game it’s even tougher. A typical Virginia game tonight after their loss is expected with a final around 64-47.

Wisconsin just lost at Penn State by ten points on Saturday. Now they play them again at home and the outcome should reverse itself. Wisconsin has responded to all four of their losses this year with a resounding win and cover the following game.

I actually liked this game earlier but for some reason a line wasn’t available until late afternoon. UC San Diego has played two road games and has gotten smoked both times. Riverside has a decent team this year and tend to play well against poor teams. There were two big upsets in the small conferences yesterday, Marist over Sienna and FDU over Bryant and sure enough I pick the wrong one to rebound today.

Couldn’t get the sweep yesterday as even bad teams have a great shooting day every once in a while and Cal Davis couldn’t miss yesterday to stay inside the number. Bryant is a pretty good team and should win their the Northeast league. They have beaten UMass and were upset yesterday by FDU. They play again today and I expect a different result. Also leaning toward Mich State at noon but the book is still out on them, they may be like Kansas this year.

Three great comebacks today so far so lets keep it going with a game that shouldn’t need a comeback. This is nothing more than a hot team going against an awful team for the second day in a row. Usually you would think about taking the other team in a bounce back game, but I have found that when really good conference teams play really bad conference teams it doesn’t work. Plus the spread, since on the road, isn’t that high. SBarb won by 19 last night and have won their last 4 games by 14 or more points. They just beat up bad teams. The broom is out!

Texas Tech is good and have lost two in a row, while LSU is undisciplined and erratic. Colorado has had two easy games and now faces Utah who is in every game they play and are playing with revenge . Too many points here to pass up. Taking value with Auburn as Baylor coming off a 48 point win over Kansas state. Since adding the freshman superstar, Auburn has only lost one game by two points and hasn’t lost to anyone by more than 13 all year and they have played Gonzaga.
