Two teams coming off disappointing losses especially Michigan State who played an awful first half against Wisconsin before almost coming back in second. Their opponent, Penn State, is coming off a road win at Nebraska . Michigan state has won their last eight games at home by 12, 53, 33, 20, 18, 16, 12, and 29 points. Kentucky is playing Mississippi State who is coming off back to back wins over Florida and Tennessee.

Illinois has won 7 games in a row which include a 1, 2, 3, and 4 point victory. Their luck runs out today against Iowa who is a beast at home winning every league game and they are coming off a road loss at Maryland. Also playing today is Manhattan who lost for us on Friday at home not even showing up . They are back at home today playing Iona who is no good either. I’m not going to make an official call on this one so you know whats going to happen . Good luck with your Super Bowl pick, it’s a toss-up. Early money came in on KC but late money is coming on SF. XFL update: according to Vegas future odds our battlehawks are not going to be very good with an over/under set at 3.5 victories out of ten games.

Richmond has lost three league games to St. Louis, and just back to back against Dayton and VCU. They deserve an easy game and GW is the perfect opponent who just won their biggest game of the year in four overtimes over Davidson. We had a terrible finish in the West Virginia game as a missed dunk to go up 13 with 28 seconds to go was missed and you know the rest.

This ETSU team is good having beaten LSU earlier this year. NC Greenboro is playing their third straight road game winning the previous two. ETSU played an awful game on Wednesday losing to Mercer at home. Hopefully they were looking ahead to this game. Before that they had won 10 of 11. They get the easy home victory today.

Georgia has lost four in a row and just blew a 20 point lead at Mizzou. I’m betting they play well today against A&M who just won on the road. West Virginia is lights out at home and coming off a loss and trying to avenge their worst loss of the season at K-State. WV previous home league games they have won by 12, 32, 38, and 23.

Congrats to Steve S. who parlayed my three picks yesterday and added UAB, Illinois and Maryland who I also mentioned. Six team parlays pay 40-1. Illinois had no business covering as Minnesota cut the lead to one with a minute and a half to go, then missed a wide open layup with one second left. Crazy how many games come down to the last few seconds. Already this week 46 road teams have won outright, that is a really big number. So keeping with that trend we are going with a couple tonight, Rhode Island has surprised everyone this year looking very strong despite losing a ton of scoring from last year . They went on the road and beat VCU earlier this year. I’ll take VCU tonight though as they are playing much better than the first meeting. St Peter’s just had their biggest win of the season beating league leading Monmouth two days ago. Big letdown spot here as Manhattan visits. The Jaspers have lost three close games in a row and they should break through tonight. One more road team that almost made the list is Akron, here again I’m sure they will win since I didn’t post them.
