1* VCU +8 #627 starts at 7:00 CBSSN
Dayton is the class of the A-10 but I don’t think VCU is getting much respect here. Dayton has not beaten VCU in over two years. Dayton is on a five game winning streak over Grambling, North Florida , Lasalle, St. Joe’s and UMass, not exactly stellar competition. VCU just lost to Rhode Island so they won’t be in a good mood and they have already beaten LSU. They certainly aren’t afraid of Dayton. I’ll take the generous points here and hope Vegas made a mistake with this pointspread. I’m also taking a money line parlay on Florida, Toledo, West Virginia and Duke.

Good day yesterday despite a couple tough losses and if you added BYU it was even better. North Carolina blew it’s game and in the Toledo game a flagrant1 foul call for undercutting with less than a minute to go led to a five point possession for Western Michigan and there went the cover. Toledo rebounded the ball up 12 with 50 seconds to go when the foul was called. Miami is coming off two losses to Duke and Louisville while Pitt is playing their second road game after winning at N Carolina (although everyone wins there). Miami has played one of the toughest schedules in the country and we will take them to win tonight.

North Carolina blows their big lead in last four minutes. Unbelievable, and costs us the early sweep. Thank God they lost, they deserve to lose after maintaining a ten point lead throughout most of the game. And once again we don’t go win the hottest team in the country and they win and cover easily-SETON HALL. Final pick is a little iffy but we will go with it anyway. I’m not sold on SF but they are catching Pacific off their biggest win in a very long time. I like BYU also but not making it an official pick because spread is higher than I thought it would be at -18.

Taking GT because Boston college just had their biggest win in a decade over Virginia. Taking Toledo because they have lost five in a row to good competition and Western Michigan is not good. May have one more later.

Three teams coming off bad losses. Vermont is one of the best small conference teams in country. They have beaten St. Bonny, St. John’s, destroyed Lipscomb and lost to Virginia by 6 . Abilene Christian is catching Texas CC off a huge upset win at Stephen F Austin. And the small line on North Carolina is too good to pass up. Can they really lose three games in a row at home? Clemson is just not that strong and may be the cure for NC’s woes. Maybe more later.

Good night last night as pick and parlay both won rather easily. Tonight we are trying again in the MAC where we have been bad . Went with toledo with back to back picks and lost both and we are doing the same with Buffalo hoping for a different result. I just have a hard time thinking this team will go 0-3 in league play when they are the favorites to win the league. They definitely aren’t as strong as last year but they played awful in their last game and you would think they would play better against Miami Ohio who is not as good as their last opponent, Ball State. If Buffalo doesn’t win tonight I think I will give up on this league.
