No bad beats last night as that was just one of those nights. New day today with 127 board games. I have 31 games circled and these 5 are my strongest. My confidence has been shaken but probably won’t be able to resist the other 26, though.

Toledo has lost three in a row and opens conference play tonight. They are the better team here and knows they need this one because their next game is at Kent State. Delaware is in the same situation here as the much better team with a tough game at James Madison next game. System also likes Northern Kentucky, Ohio State , and Central Florida. We have had three bad luck games in a row, let’s hope these two go as planned.
Bad luck again tonight as Lipscomb misses 4 free throws in final seconds to blow 8 point lead so bad luck on posted plays continues. I am going to give you all my system plays tonight so you can follow. I had Lipscomb as my strongest play though.

Congrats to those who took Seton Hall -2 in second half in the Depaul game. I handicapped that game just perfectly but lost on the game pick due to some bad info on the franchise player. That’s two games in a row where a team’s best player injury (or lack thereof) killed us. Powell definitely took over in second half. Ok, I implemented my system a few days ago and have gone 7-2 in that stretch so it’s time to go full speed ahead. Lipscomb is not as strong this year and have lost to Belmont twice by five points, and just lost at Vermont and Auburn. Stetson just won at South Carolina who had just pulled off the upset at Virginia!!! I guess that means Stetson would beat Virginia, too. No, basketball is all about situations especially starting up league play and this is the perfect situation for Lipscomb who can’t wait to beat up on a lesser league foe who they beat by 23 and 24 points last year. Huge letdown for Stetson here as this group of players have never beaten Lipscomb.
Well for the second game in a row the injury report fails me as Powell is playing tonight when his coach earlier today said he was very doubtful. Basketball injury reports are not as complex as football. Anyway just wanted to let you know in case you wanted to lay off some of the bet with a halftime bet on Seton Hall. Depaul is playing pretty good but if Powell takes over in second half it could be trouble.

Had this game been played a month ago Seton Hall probably would have won easily. However things can change big time in a month. Superstar guard Myles Powell did it all for Seton Hall in the early part of the season. You may remember him if you saw him at Chaifetz against SLU scoring 26 from anywhere on the court and he scored 37 in a three point loss to Michigan State. He sustained a bad concussion in the loss at Rutgers and is still in concussion protocol. Without him running the show, Seton Hall is less than efficient having lost both road games without him. They are still talented and very big up front but Depaul is fast and has great shooters. This is Depaul’s chance to show they are for real this year in the Big East. They have already beaten Texas Tech, Iowa, Boston College and Minnesota so they won’t be intimidated. Getting great value here at -1 at home.
