Tuesday is the start of college basketball season with 87 board games on the opening night including Duke-Kansas and Mich State – Kentucky. St. Louis also opens up at home against Florida Gulf Coast. Missouri should be much more competitive this year with a true point guard in Dru Smith who is the real deal. If anyone wants information on any of the 350 D-1 teams I use a website called three-man-weave.com. They preview every team in-depth by conference and their projected finish with lots of team information. Don’t know when I will start with my plays but Tuesday is not out of the question. After two great years last year was a little subpar by my standards so we definitely need to improve on that. Looking forward to getting started.

Well, now I know why I shouldn’t be posting after the first round although Gonzaga should have covered easily. A questionable technical foul in the second half was a momentum killer when it looked like they would blow the game open. The favorites were the play today. Definitely my worst year of the three years posting here but it was still fun. Had a really good run at the end except for today. Hope to do it again next year. Have a great spring and summer!

Tournament update:
Underdogs against the spread are now 20-11-1 after an 11-5 run today. You don’t have to figure anything out in the first round, just blindly take the underdogs every game and you will never lose. Second round can be a little trickier. Not sure what the powerhouse teams were doing in the first half today but Virginia, Duke and North Carolina were all easy second half winners. Even the Billikens joined the fun and cashed the second half.
Underdogs still rolling in afternoon games, 5-1 so far in completed games. I’m going with underdogs tonight again with the exception of Central Florida and the two big favorites Duke and North Carolina. I think at least one will cover the big number if not both.
