Trudging along and tonight we take the class of the Horizon league as N Kent has lost a pair of road games but comes home tonight to play the defenseless Detroit titans. I expect scoring at will tonight with the Norse prevailing 90-71. Also like the Norse team total over 80.5. ODU has a tall task tonight at UAB and I think the Blazers call pull the mini upset. Washington has not lost a league game yet and have won 11 straight. Now they travel to Arizona and Arizona State where they will lose at least one. We will take Arizona tonight and if that doesn’t work we will take Arizona State in the next game.

Was all ready to make St. Louis -1 a 2* play around noon yesterday but then the line moved three points the other way mainly because of Bess’s availability and from all indications, even from Travis Ford, that they would most likely keep him out of the game. Well, so goes the 2* star winner and instead we split out. In the first 15 minutes of the Michigan state game, the spartans were shooting 70% from the field and 100% from the line. The only problem was they turned it over 16 times in the first 15 minutes! I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. It was like watching a fourth grade girls cyc game! Then NC state , after scoring 24 in their previous game, scores 96 points! Even that wasn’t enough to cover. Thank you Michigan and Kansas state. Anyway, big revenge game for Missouri state tonight and they are catching S. Ill. in back to back road games winning their previous. Mississippi is due to crush someone and what better team than Texas A&M. Nebraska has lost 5 in row but has revenge tonight against Maryland.

Was going to play St. Louis tonight but it looks like Bess is very doubtful and Hankton is out. Scoring will be tough, the under may be the play. Ok, Michigan state has lost two games in a row and Michigan was just blown out by Iowa. Look for both to rebound tonight against weak teams. Kansas state is arguably a better team than Kansas and Kstate has had this date circled for a long time. And you always come back with a team who only scores 24 points in their last game (like that happens a lot). You are still getting great value here with 11 points in an in state rival game.
Monday plays:

Going against two lousy teams here . West Virginia just can’t score but they did actually beat a bad Oklahoma team in their last game . Texas Tech is coming off their worst game of the year losing at Kansas and playing bad defensively which is usually their strength. West Virginia will have a hard time hitting sixty points while Tech should hit 75. Eastern Washington is starting to play well and is catching Northern Arizona off a rare road win. Not likely to pull off two road wins in a row here and eastern Wash should win by double digits.
Saturday afternoon plays:

Don’t normally like to take a team trying to win it’s second road game in a row but North Carolina’s only loss in last 9 games was a brutal home loss to Louisville. I expect revenge is on their mind and tar heels are just a better team. Samford is also seeking revenge against a bad West Carolina team who just won on the road. Colorado trying to not lose back to back home games while Oregon trying to win back to back road games. That may be it for today unless something comes along later which I missed.
