I always say when you like a situation don’t let the spread influence you. So, Penn should be at least a 2* play but I just couldn’t do it for some reason. I’ll post again by 2:30 for the afternoon plays. NFL notes: the underdogs have covered the last 15 out of 16 playoff games going back to last year!!! And last weekend if you took the underdogs and under you went 7-1!

also played over 168 in ETSU-Citadel game earlier today but now line is up to 172.5. I still think game will go over that, too. Was so pissed at the end of Creighton game last night that I didn’t make UNLV an official play but if you did play it you went 2-2 on night. Five points in last .8 seconds? Don’t know if that’s ever been done before and I’m still think last basket shouldn’t have counted. If you had Creighton, you enjoyed the first 39 minutes and 59.2 seconds of the game.

Kansas was embarrassed last game and I know TCU has had some impressive wins, but going into Lawrence will be tough. Creighton and Marquette both play great at home. Creighton is at home and lost their last game. Marquette won at home and is now on road. St Bonaventure is the worst team in A-10. They have only won four games all season over Jackson State, Canisius, Sienna, and Delaware state. I know St. Joe’s isn’t great but should win here.

Probably won’t have anything today and tomorrow, nothing stands out today although St. Louis is only laying five to a Rhode Island team that lost all of their scoring from last year, but the Gordon factor is the question. Maybe they look great without him or maybe they are weak inside. I guess we’ll pass. It’s funny though, whenever I don’t post on a day, I can’t lose. That’s gambling. Rotten day yesterday as after 11 straight winning 2* plays Penn goes 2-7 from the foul line in overtime after being perfect in regulation to ruin my streak. We will just have to start another one. Interestingly, whenever I post a losing selection , that losing team almost always covers the following game. Arizona State and Charlotte both covered easily yesterday after being my only two losing picks on Thursday, so who do I pick? Connecticut, the only team that didn’t follow that pattern. Yesterday big teams that played at home covered big numbers. Duke -15, Tennessee -14, Virginia -9 , Gonzaga -25 but Kansas and Nevada which played on the road lost. One more funny thing, Penn’s next game is next Saturday against Princeton, again. Maybe that will be a 100*star play!!
