Hope we are not a couple games late with this play but if Mizzou can shoot half as good as they did in the tournament, they should win easily. This Central Florida has no outside shooters and the tigers have the size inside , unlike St. Johns, to compete with Manute Bol , only this guy is 75 pounds heavier than Manute. If Mizzou doesn’t think about their long losing road streak they should win this game.
Wednesday play:
1* North Carolina -10
SLU was dismal last night but North Carolina was pathetic in their last game setting all kinds of records in scoring futility. They will rebound at home against Michigan who hasn’t played a real road game yet.
Tuesday play:
1* St.Louis -3
Good spot for the Billikens here as they are coming off a bad home loss and may catch Western Michigan looking ahead to their big in- state game with Oakland. WM is no cupcake and may be dancing in the spring, but we are getting some value here after the Billikens recent losses only laying three. For you Mizzou fans who watched a sure win slip away, at least they are fun to watch, unlike the last two years and are 5-1 against the spread. Still trying to get a feel for most teams and trying to find some value before league play
Sunday early play:
1* St. John’s -3 (starts at 11:00am)
St John’s plays too fast for central Florida and their 7’6″ center Tacko Fall. They also lost their best player to injury in their first game. Mizzou was able to beat St. John’s with outside scoring, something central Florida lacks and St John’s will look to run leaving the big man in the dust. Not a big fan of betting tournament games but this is an exception. Interestingly, Mizzou plays at Central Florida on Thursday. Unfortunately, we got off of Mizzou after the Utah game and that was a big mistake as they have won and covered both tournament games easily. Big game sunday night against W. Virginia.
Tuesday picks: time to get back on track

1* Idaho -money line
Syracuse just played a perfect game at home against Oakland and wont be ready for a bigger Toledo team, good value here. Idaho is a far better veteran team than Santa Clara. Line started at one and has moved up to 2.5. I bet the money line at -140. NBA tidbit: The Boston Celtics are 14-2-1 against the spread this year.
