Wednesday’s plays:
Visitors were an astounding 22-8 against the spread last night and, as my picks showed, the last week of the season is notoriously difficult to pick winners. I have hit a rough patch with my lesser plays but the 2 star plays are still 7-4 over the last week. Iowa fought back hard to take the lead with 3 minutes left and then they benched their guard, who runs the offense, when he picked up his fourth foul. I didn’t get that and Iowa couldn’t even get good shots off when he was out and by the time they brought him back in, it was too late.

The bad news – if you played all of my plays, like me, you had an ever so slight deficit. That ruins my streak of eight straight basketball winning weeks.
