Well if you jumped right back on UConn today early you got an easy spread winner. I’m sure Mississippi State will cover today , too. Going with three teams who have combined lost 12 games in a row yet they are all favored today and spreads keep going up. Western Kentucky has lost five games in a row and now they are on the road facing a weak Texas San antonio team. Colorado State Has lost 4 in a row and now they host Fresno state who just beat the last remaining undefeated team New Mexico. Virginia Tech has lost 3 in a row and hosts NC State who just beat Duke.

Just not a lot of confidence right now so we will pass tonight. If I had to make a play I’d take Hofstra -10 over a bad Hampton team although Hampton is at home. Hofstra just lost to NC A&T. Hofstra is a much better team coming off a bad loss.

Well that was not the way to start off the new year but it happens. And all my added games were covering at some point in the second half and all fell apart. Very unusual so tonight we’ll take the best team on the board in UConn who just lost their first game at Xavier after leading most of the game and then their coach Dan Hurley gets a technical with a couple minutes left and the momentum changes completely. UConn also has revenge as Providence beat them last year in their only meeting.

Saturday wasn’t the best of days but sunday and monday were good using my system capping off with Rutgers last night so let’s start back up tonight. We’ll back Miss State on the road at Tennessee getting double digits. The rebels won their first 11 games but have dropped their last two by 5 at Drake and by 11 against Alabama. Miss State defense is pretty good and should keep this game inside the number. My other picks tonight are Notre Dame money line, Miami Ohio +3 (playing central michigan who just won at michigan), Boise State -10 (playing san jose state who just won at colorado state), Virginia -5 (playing Pitt who just beat North Carolina) and Texas Tech(at home playing Kansas )+2.
Going through a dry run today on college basketball and should get back to normal next week. Liked Xavier and Kentucky in the early games, we’ll see how they pan out. Been on the underdogs and under in the bowl games. This is the third straight year that they have been the way to go. So far the underdogs are 21-10-2 and the under is 20-12 -1.

Slu needs a win badly and we do too. After two bad losses you would think that Slu would come to play tonight against a drake team who is 8-2 but really haven’t played anyone. Slu will be their first tough opponent and drake’s defense is nothing special. Slu should get a double digit victory here
