Northwestern is no slouch but they are coming off a big home win over Indiana. Illinois should make a statement here at home. A number of good teams playing today coming off losses: UConn, Purdue, Iona (off two losses), Loyola Chicago, Oakland and Wright State.

Jumped on these right away as spread will only go up. Auburn at home after a loss against a team in disarray who has lost seven straight in Texas A&M. Probably should go against Arkansas who plays at the same time at Alabama but they are hot having won nine in a row. Alabama is -5. Baylor at home is always a good bet and they are playing Texas who just beat Iowa State and Kansas at home.

We took Colorado state a week ago and I said we’re just not sure how good they are. They built a big 20 pt lead over San Diego State in the second half and promptly folded and lost the lead at the end but hit a shot at the buzzer to win by one. Fresno’s last three league losses have been by four, five and two to a real good Wyoming team in last game. I think these teams are pretty even and Col St rarely wins a game by more than six pts. We’ll grab those six points tonight.

Everything played out perfectly last night, let’s hope it continues. Tonight we will take Ga Southern playing with revenge and getting too many points. This line is inflated because App State is 9-3 in league while Ga Southern is 4-6. But App State has won 2 games by one point and Ga Southern has only not covered one game as an underdog in league play. We’ll take the generous 7 points here and they may even pull off the upset.

Lots of games tonight and nothing really standing out but Baylor coming off a bad loss and K-State not being able to put up a lot of points figures to favor Baylor. I know they already pounded them earlier but K-State just doesn’t match up real well. Bradley , on the other hand matches up really well with Loyola and played them tough the first time. Bradley’s only home league loss was to Missouri State by 2 points. We’ll take them here plus the points. Also leaning toward Florida, Dayton, Memphis, Georgetown and Bellarmine.

Having a big lead early in second half is the kiss of death as was the case last night. Number one goes down tonight as Arkansas, who won and covered for us Saturday night but shot terribly, gets Auburn on their second road game in a row. Auburn has not played many good games on the road but has survived . Not tonight, as Arkansas will get the victory. Also leaning toward UConn(this line makes no sense, -6) and Utah state late. Mizzou is tempting at +8 but they just won on the road but are finally competing.
