Can’t see these lines working in our favor over the next 17 hours, I would imagine Marquette going to a pickem and Wake may go to -2 or -3. Both of their opponents just came off huge road victories and are on the road again. Florida State won at NC State by 2 and Providence won big at Depaul. Meanwhile Wake just came off two road losses, losing to Louisville by 4 and Miami by 8. Marquette has lost three straight games, lost to Xavier on the road and lost to UConn and Creighton at home. Wake Forest has improved tremendously this year and should be ready to beat an undisciplined Fla State team while Marquette has played one of the toughest schedules in the country, beating Illinois, West Virginia, Mississippi, and Kansas State before their current slide. We’ll take them to come out of their slump against Providence who’s schedule has been very weak.

All three of these teams were upset last game. Hofstra was upset by William and Mary who Northeastern plays today and Northeastern was upset by Elon who plays Hofstra today. Delaware just lost at NC Wilmington and now plays at Charleston who just upset Old Dominion. Confusing, not at all. Cancellations are starting to outnumber the games played and it probably will get worse. Full slate of games on Saturday but already 30 are cancelled. Happy New Year!

Delaware coming off a road loss to Iona. Don’t think they will lose their conference opener to a bottom tier opponent. Hope we’re not a game late betting against Missouri but don’t think so. They are really bad and have only played one good game all year against SMU. Mizzou is the worst team in the SEC and they couldn’t slow down the inside scoring of Illinois and Kentucky is just as strong inside. They just beat NC by 29 and W. Kentucky by 35, scoring in the nineties both times. How in the world will Mizzou stay within 20 points at Lexington? They won’t. Out of 30 scheduled games on Tuesday, 17 were cancelled. There are 70 scheduled games on Wednesday and already 27 cancelled with surely more to come.

St. Mary’s is money at home after a loss as they just lost to San Diego State. Twice before after losses they won and covered the next game. Not sure why Mo .State would even schedule this game having to go out west for one game just before Christmas after three home games. Mo. state has been all over the map this season and sometimes plays great. Do not expect them to fare well tonight. Line has been moving around all day from 5-6.5. I got it at 5.5 (buying half point) this morning and then it dropped to 5. This afternoon it has gone up to 6 at some places.
