Small plays on Georgetown (already started), Missouri, Duke, La -Laf, Ucla, Jacksonville State, and Stanford. Thought I was being smart posting Drake early and it backfired. Drake kept that injury pretty quiet before today’s big game. Weber state is just better than Montana and they lost yesterday to them. They will bounce back today. North Carolina just went to Duke and won. Big letdown for this young team here at Virginia.
Drake’s top scorer is out today. That figures.

Another brutal ending last night as Bakersfield up 9 with 30 seconds to go and at the foul line misses the front end of a one and one and then lets UCSD have a layup. Up 7 they miss another one and one and that’s the end of it. They couldn’t make threes or foul shots in second half. We move on. Can’t pass up points with Drake in this early contest, I know Loyola has won 10 in a row and Drake really hasn’t played a quality team yet , but let’s face it, these are the two best teams in the Valley, no one else is close right now and I expect a competitive game so we will take the points.

Was debating over Cal, Stanford and Boise last night and sure enough I picked the team that decided not to show up. Tonight we will once again go against Cal San Diego who has not been competitive on the road and has played a limited schedule. Bakersfield has played good competition and should be able to name their score tonight, hopefully a double digit win. Small plays on Marshall, Denver, and you guessed it, Nebraska Omaha.

7-0 last night, that’s a good way to break a slump. Everything looked good last night and the system worked perfectly. Even had to bet against the home state in a classic letdown spot. Tonight doesn’t look as attractive but Stanford has revenge in their game against Colorado where they lost by 13 at Boulder. Stanford has been playing well and Colorado is a different team on the road and I think the Cardinal gets the victory here. Small plays on California, Louisiana Laf., and Boise State.

Underdogs went 11-4-2 last night as a lot of them stayed just inside the number. Tonight we take Houston who inexplicably lost their last league game to East Carolina. Now they play South Florida who hasn’t played a game in over a month. Can’t see them being very sharp and in order to stay inside the number they would have to play almost flawless. Houston should win here easily. Small plays on Iowa (CJ Frederick is supposed to be back tonight, without him Iowa has gone 1-4), Mississippi, Providence, NC Greensboro, Bradley, and Drake.
